What's better for watching movies and playing video games?, Xbox 360 or PS3.?
Posted by admin | Under Xbox Video Games Sunday Nov 9, 2008I currently have the Xbox 360 but since i'm getting a HDTV i need something that will fufill my needs. The PS3 has built-in Blu-Ray and i need another hardware for the Xbox 360 (HD DVD player).
I like Xbox 360 games but don't like the hd dvd player.
I like the PS3 Blu-Ray but hate the remote and games.
Games: 360
Movies: PS3
The 360 is a better game system, but the HD=DVD format is dead. If you must have hi-def movies right away, then the ps3 is a good deal for a middle of the road Blu-Ray player. It has good games, but nowhere near the 360

If you are online with your 360, you can always just download hi-def movies from live. Thats what I do.
Absolutely not the 360 based on that criteria, the HD-DVD is toast DO NOT BUY AN HD-DVD PLAYER.
Seriously the Blu-Ray is now the only supported high-def media.
Don't get me wrong, the 360 still has some great games but if you're looking for something to play both high-def games and movies then the 360 is not the answer anymore.

The HD DVD player for the 360 just went down significantly in price, we just got ours for less than $50. Many HD DVD movies are also going down in price. The only downside is that they won't be making HD DVD movies for much longer. I personally prefer the 360 for games, too.

a blu ray player cost the same or less as a ps3 and selling your 360 wont help that much in the price also if you just want it for movies most deals with a blue ray player get you like 5-10 free blu ray movies
