You need to download the backward compatibility update. You can either burn it onto a CD or put in one of the orriginal games that are backward compatible and it will automatically donwload the update.

Not all x-box games work on the 360. i think there's a web site that tells you which games it can play.

if you put it in and it does not play got to xbox.com than search it up than find the update make sure you have a blank wirtable disc that can go in disc place on your computer download the program and from there it will tell you what to do

you can download new updates from xboxlive I think but if you have xbox live it should do it automatically, other than that I have no idea. You need a hard drive. Also there is a list on Xbox Live that shows all the old xbox games that will play.

you just need to download an update (Which is free, through Xbox Live or through Xbox.com by downloading to a CD)
To download the update:

The update takes up 2.5mb so make sure you have the hard drive space for it.
