like a little kid. I asked him how old he was, and he responded that he was 8 years old. The game was Gears of War, (Violence, gore, and explicit language galor in this game). I asked him if his parents knew he was playing such a game. "My parents bought it for me." He said, follwed by, "It's just a video game."

"Porno is just movies…" was my response. Why don't parents monitor what their kids do? This is not something a child should be allowed to play. Feeling disappointed in parenting, I was further shocked to find a five year old playing on the opposite team……

What are your thoughts on this situation?

I think that some games are not made for kids..but I also don't think that they will promote violence in the child's life. It was wrong for the kid to be on xbox live…everyone has a dirty mouth on there..I have had little kids call me the worst names…awful.

Some parents just want to be the cool parent and don't care about parenting. They want to be the kids friend. But they can do both, they just don't understand how.
